Arts Canterbury Arts Show

This event is a fundraiser for Arts Canterbury Inc. Arts Canterbury believe in fostering appreciation of the visual arts in Canterbury and provide support to artists who create it. The members of Arts Canterbury come from a variety of backgrounds and differing levels of experience – from established professional full time artists, emerging artists and hobbyists across a wide spectrum of mediums and styles.

For the first time Arts Canterbury has also invited Youth Artists to exhibit in this exhibition and are very excited to be providing this opportunity for the next generation of Canterbury artists.

At this art show not only will you find traditional paintings and drawings on show, but also sculptures, artworks created from glass, driftwood art, jewellery and so much more! There will definitely be something there for everyone to enjoy.

The Arts Canterbury Art Show at the Cashmere Club opens 7pm on Friday 9th of August with a ticketed opening night - tickets can be bought from eventbrite at the following link:https://2024-ArtsCanterburyArtShow.eventbrite.com

At the opening receive a complimentary drink and nibbles while enjoying all of the art and mingling with the artists.

The show will be open to the public Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm, and is just a gold coin donation on the door. This year we are also introducing a “low sensory hour” on Sunday 11th of August between 9 - 10am with reduced noise, lighting and distractions during this time period.
