Whether you're winding down after work, catching the big game, or just after a good meal with friends, the Sports Bar is where it all happens. With a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and plenty going on most nights, there's always a reason to come in.
Our Club Licence
Weekly Events in the Bar
The Cashmere Club operates under a Club Licence, which means we're not a public bar — and that's part of what makes us special. Under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, we can serve alcohol to:

Cashmere Club Members (current membership card required)

Members of affiliated clubs with reciprocal visiting rights — just show your current membership card at the bar

Guests of members — up to 10 guests per member, who must be accompanied by that member at all times

Quiz Night — every Wednesday from 7pm
Really popular and free to enter. Gather your team, choose your name, and call us to reserve your table. Hosted by Qwizard.
Happy Hour* — Thursday & Friday, 5pm–7pm
Wind down after work with discounted drinks. A great reason to make the Cashmere Club your Thursday and Friday local.
Meat Raffles & Lucky Draws* — Thursday & Friday
Tickets are $2 each (limit 10 per member) at the bar — you've got to be here to win. Wheel of Fortune drawn every Thursday at 7pm. Lucky Llama drawn every Friday at 7pm.

Riverview Restaurant
​Open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, the Riverview Restaurant offers a great menu with something for everyone. Bookings from 11.30am, with the full menu available right through until dinner. After our restaurant closes, you can still order food from our After 8 Menu.

Weekly Club Member highlights include 2-for-1 Pizza Fridays - two delicious house-made pizzas for just $22 (gluten-free +$2/pizza). And every Sunday, kids dine for half price with every full-priced adult meal.

Pool Hall
One of the biggest pool halls in Christchurch — 10 pool tables and 3 snooker tables, all available to members and their guests
(tournament dates excepted).
Get a group together, book a table, and make a night of it.
Light meters are 50c per 15 minutes.
Change available at the bar.
Children 15 and under must be supervised by an adult aged 18 or over.
Live Sports
The Cashmere Club is the place to be to catch all your favourite sports on the big screens in our Sports Bar.
If it's on Sky, we will be broadcasting it live and loud.​​
