NOTICE OF MEETING

Special General Meeting of members of Cashmere Club Incorporated to be held at Cashmere (50 Colombo Street) on Sunday 28 April 2024 at 4:00pm.   Andrew Webster President.

AGENDA

1. Presentation of the Chairman’s Report.

2. Presentation of Financial Statement if applicable. Brief overview of Management Accounts. (Audited Financial Statements for 31MAR2024 are not yet available).

3. Correspondence relating to the notified business of the Meeting.

4. Notice of Motion

(A resolution was passed at the Annual General Meeting held on 7 November 2021 authorising the Board to proceed with sale of a portion of the Colombo Street frontage land.) The President will move that this meeting confirm the sale  of approximately 2,980 Square Metres of land on our Colombo Street frontage and authorise and instruct the General Manager and Board to proceed accordingly to completion. Details of the transaction have yet to be finalised and are commercially sensitive. The main reason for the land sale is that there is too much debt.

5. General Business.  There is no general business scheduled for discussion at this Special General Meeting.  The relevant section of the rules states: - “At all Special General Meetings no business shall be resolved that has not been clearly stated in the Notice of Meeting.” Nevertheless, should there be questions or topics of General Business arise, these can be noted and discussed but no resolutions will be put to the meeting in regard to these discussions.
